About the option to do a 2.5 ECTS follow-up project (formally corresponding to roughly 1.5 weeks of fulltime work):

We suggest that you either pick

  • a standard project (with files standardprojectfiles.zip) defined by us, or
  • a project of your own choice with a clear project scope and estimated time frame to be accepted by us. This will make it possible for you to suggest a project close to your own interests.

You have been asked to hand in a very small lab report documenting your learning experience for the lab exercises of the course. This is a requirement for passing the course and obtaining 2.5 ECTS. If you hand in a follow-up project report, you get an additional 2.5 ECTS and the lab notes are then not required (this allows you to focus on your own work if you prefer).

The deadline for handing in the lab notes or follow-up project report is Monday 14 June 2010 (at noon) unless you arranged otherwise with us. Submit your work by e-mail to Allan (apek (at) imm.dtu.dk). Please state clearly in your submission whether it is lab notes (2.5 ECTS) or a follow-up project report (5 ECTS). If you choose to do a follow-up project different from the standard project, please let us know today or during next week at the latest.
